"To Ayu" is a piece dedicated to my girlfriend. I think it summarizes my feelings for her quite well. On valentine's day she sent me over a keychain she had sewn and some chocolates from Japan. In return, on "White Day" I made the sketch for what was to become the solo guitar piece "To Ayu" and sent that to her in the mail (along with some Canadian chocolate) from my Toronto apartment as I was studying at University of Toronto at the time…
