Ethan Larose makes music for people who like to listen.
Ever since I was a kid I have loved music. Combining my passion for video games and film with music, I strive to be an inspired composer who makes music that touches the heart and breaks the mold.

Adaptive Music
Music that responds to in-game events
In Forgotten City, on top of layering randomized drum tracks, synth pad recording positions, randomized guitar ambience and more, I programmed the music to change tempo, feel, and instruments in response to progression of the main character to create a truly dynamic and immersive gaming experience.
In the video below I show the inside of the FMOD project and show you how the music transitions when I switch parameter. In unity I programmed collision checkpoints inside the game to signal changes in progress, thus changing the feeling of the music to indicate to the player a sense of progression or change.
This is adaptive music.

Sound Design / Voice Acting
Monster shrieks, footsteps, player noises, alien speak. I’ve done it all. Monster voices were made by me, a cup of tea, and some audio magic. Music and sound integration with Wwise, FMOD, Unity, Unreal, etc. are tasks that I have completed before.
